The day had come. The day that my skills will come out. The day that I was so afraid to come. On that day was the permanent test for us temporary leaders. We had voice test, written test and interview test. I learned somrthing in the interview test. That thing that I’ve learned helped me to develop my self confidence.

When the result is about to announce, I thought of one thing, even I will be one of the chosen permanent leader or not, I will accept the fact that, all I’ve done during the test was all I can do. “The first permanent OD is Janine Amano”, as this sentence was heard by me, I was really shock, because this is soo unexpected..

I’m very happy to become the permanent OD of company ‘C’, its anther responsibility for me to handle and I know I can..

One morning, someone announced that they will conduct an entrance examination for C.Os and I had no doubt to join the examination. On the examination day I kept myself cool,but I failed too. Because nervousness ruled my whole feelings. The test was a multiple type one. But even though it’s a quite easy one, I was not contented with my answers, because i was confused.

When they announced the passers, I was shock because I was one of the top 20 highest people. I felt happy then. After wards, they let us stand. They told us that we will be the temporary leaders of the unit. I was assigned to the ‘A’ company.

Its good to feel that I will handle a company, but then again I always put in my mind that we were still temporary leaders.

Junior-Senior Promenade

This is my first time to feel nervous and excited in a way that I could not express my own feelings. At 1:00 in the afternoon, my mother and I went to a parlor. Getting ready for the once in a lifetime event in anyone’s life.

3:00 in the afternoon, I was so excited to go to school and it happen that I forgot my gate pass(parent’s permit). I immediately called my mom and she gave my gate pass, she even scold me. But for me it’s just good for it is really my fault.

As I enter our room, I was shock because almost all of my classmates told me that I was pretty at that time. Smile was just my reply then. Exactly 3:30 in the afternoon, we started the promenade walk. Third year students were the most who participated the walk. After the walk, the show started.

Dance, dance, dance. . . Whew! Even though we want an extension, the time was come to end the program. After the program we did not go home immediately, we took pictures as remembrance.

As I arrived home, I felt that I did not miss the half of my high school life.. I felt COMPLETE..

On the evening of February 2, 1995 an intensive combustion happened because of the birth of a little baby girl who was named Janine, and that’s me…! It is my pleasure to live, and for me I am blessed because God gave me this oppurtunity and a responsibility.
